Treated with patience, kindness and humour

My parents arrived at Avenue House in April 2018. My father was in his 90's and not in good health by the staff managed to make his last few months comfortable and happy with mum before he died. Since then mum has settled in and made friends with other residents and staff. The staff know mum's little ways and always treat her with patience, kindness and humour. They will not hesitate to contact myself for my brother if they feel they need to.

Wonderful consistent care

My mother had been in care at Avenue House since 2014 and has received wonderful consistent care from all the staff and enjoys amazing nutritional meals. If there is a concern regarding mum they always contact me. I feel she is in a safe caring environment and it's home from home atmosphere.
The manager is always approachable and has time for me.

The care he receives is remarkable

My father has been a resident for just under three years. He has received excellent care from staff all of whom have displayed patience, good humour and professionalism. Now aged 102 and bed-ridden having greatly reduced mental acuity, the care he receives is remarkable.
